We love our apartment. Much better building with the new super.
Pros
The super is great. Keeps everything very clean and is very responsive. The closet space and apartment layouts are good. The basement is always clean and laundry available.
Cons
The owners are rude and unresponsive. They will say no without even hearing the question. We asked if it was ok to have a dog…”no”…two months later a couple moved in with a dog. We asked if we could store bikes in the basement…”no”…two months later a new tenant has free bike storage in the basement. If it weren’t for the super it would be impossible to get anything done in the building.
Advice to the owners
Be nicer. Be receptive. Answer questions.

You can only use the laundry in the basement Monday through Friday between 9-5.

Make the laundry available outside of working hours.
