Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by PYRUS MANAGEMENT LLC highlight mixed feedback. Residents appreciate the spacious units, convenient locations, and some well-maintained amenities like rooftops and laundry facilities. However, concerns are raised about cleanliness issues, unresponsiveness from management, occasional pests, and maintenance delays. Buildings located on busy streets tend to have higher noise levels. Renters suggest improved pest control measures, better cleanliness maintenance, and more timely responses from the owner to enhance the overall experience. Despite some drawbacks, some renters still recommend staying in these buildings for their value and neighborhood advantages.

Loud bc it’s on 1st Ave, hallways sometimes smelled the day before trash day each week, two in one laundry machines don’t really work very well

Good value/location, could be cleaner and more responsive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Mostly all fully renovated units (new appliances/flooring/etc.) and pretty large 1 bds for the price (rent stabilized). Good location near trains and amenities
Cons:
Hallways/stairs dirty and not well maintained, occasional roaches (also seen in my unit) - they send exterminators very infrequently and sporadically. Heat in winter is very inconsistent, it’s usually freezing and need space heaters, landlord does not respond adequately to that. Overall a good deal if you can handle those two main issues
Advice to owner:
Deal properly with pest problems once and for all, and keep the common areas clean on a regular basis

Good Value but
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great space in apartments and floor to ceiling windows Great proximity to G, L, and J/M Beautiful rooftop and nice industrial interiors
Cons:
Pretty thin walls - I can consistently hear my neighbors alarm going off or conversations Build is pretty filthy - management never cleans the laundry room and most common spaces Management is pretty unresponsive, can take several weeks to handle maintenance tickets Laundry machines are often not working or eat quarters Elevator frequently goes out Poor insulation and big spaces makes it hard and expensive to heat and and cool
