Solid place to live

Pros

- Straightforward, undermarket UWS living, it's not frills but there are also few surprises

Cons

- Inconsistent repairs - Old infrastructure, not much renovation - No amenities (e.g. - doorman, in unit w/d)

Overpriced poorly managed building

Pros

The apartments are very large with original 1900’s layouts. Only 3 apartments per floor.

Cons

The building is extremely poorly managed. I lived there for close to 2 years and hated dealing with the daily problems: no heat, no hot water, getting stuck in the elevator, packages stolen, dirty common areas, trash area was a mess, laundry room with machines not working and full of mold still use quarters too, lead paint if you have younger ones that is not disclosed. You can tell that the owner is only interested in collecting the high rents and doesn’t put any money back into the building. I left in 2021 and based on what I hear from my old neighbors it hasn’t improved.
