Decent building with some issues

Pros

Landlord has a management company that does the maintenance and stuff. They are decently responsive. Haven’t had issues with bugs. Great neighborhood.

Cons

Only one apartment in the building (first floor is a salon) so garbage bins are in the main hallway to get up. Since we are the only tenants, the front door to the street acts as the primary door rather than the second floor entrance however we aren’t told when people enter the area so it’s surprising and scary when we hear a knock on the second floor door since first floor was locked and only we enter through there. Near the street and noise comes through pretty easily.

Advice to the owners

Be conscious of people entering the building to give us a heads up.
