Great value here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
All utilities included. Laundry conveniently located in the complex and very affordable. Garbage and recycle can be taken out at any time. Security makes you feel safe.
Cons:
Parking in the area is terrible. Some neighbors were controversial.
Advice to owner:
Keep it up

Amazing complex, horrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient, all utilities included in rent, laundry in the complex, and security nights and weekends.
Cons:
I had a leak in the living room that damaged my belongings. When they came to repair, they repainted the wall a different color. My ceiling also fell in the bathroom (literally my ceiling was on the floor). My toilet cracked in half and flooded my apartment. I was without hot water and the property manager refuses to compensate me. If you own a unit in this complex, you're golden, but if you are a renter and have to deal with BRG, good luck to you. Definition of a slumlord.

Great Workers
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great workers from security to maintenance
Cons:
Roaches everywhere. Water bugs, regular, you name it. Loud noise due to the highway nearby with people racing. The next block can be a little hood also.

Great Building/Complex - One Structural Issue
Former Tenant
Pros:
Extremely well maintained. Great trash management. Very responsive building staff who can help with small issues. Great management. Fantastic neighborhood. Close-knit community. Beautiful courtyard and surrounding streets. The walls are thick and almost no noise transfers through them.
Cons:
There is a structural issue with this apartment complex, where all noise -- from impact noise like footsteps and dropped items and speech, travels extremely easily through the floors to your downstairs neighbors.

If you have good, respectful upstairs neighbors, this is no problem. If you do not, this can become a bit of a nightmare. It also means you need to be extra conscientious of your own noise volumes, for the sake of your downstairs neighbors.

Even with this one problem, the management and security staff are very helpful in supporting you if quiet hours are violated.

Overall, a great place to live.
Advice to owner:
Would advise being more stringent in enforcing the carpet policy. One layer of thin or decorative carpeting is not effective for reducing or preventing noise transfer. And the 80% coverage rule is not always enforced.
