Antagonistic landlord, no heat, rats and roaches

Would be a beautiful building and apartment if the landlord kept up maintenance. Good neighborhood.
Cons
The landlord lives in the basement unit which would be fine if they were actually responsive to work requests. We had a roach and mice infestation for over a year, which the landlord Ramona would gaslight us over and suggest that we "clean" better. Nevermind the fact that the tenant below us was a hoarder! We could not get repairs without it turning antagonistic — she would get defensive and say things like "well that light worked when you moved it" — yes, it did, three years ago! It was clear she did not want to put in any money toward basic maintenance. Once our sink was broken and would not drain, she she suggested we wash our dishes in our bathtub. We went a week without being able to use our kitchen sink. She would dig through our trash and accuse us of not recycling properly and pull out wet paper packaging as proof. The heat never worked, despite us making complaints every year, forcing us to wear jackets and hats in our own homes. Truly a mean and angry woman and I'm relieved to no longer live there.
