Basic needs are not met
Former Tenant
Pros:
The sunlight coming through the front windows is incredible with having only a 2 story school building and playground across the street. No trees block the light either.
Cons:
The windows are not fully sealed, so there is constant dust in the apartment and it is very cold in the winter due to the heat rarely turning on, must have a heating blanket or space heater to stay warm. Packages are stolen frequently. You must be home when they are delivered or very soon after in order to get them. The front "security" door often has lock issues and is not secure.
Advice to owner:
The owner needs to address these major issues before raising the rent again. Be responsive to your tenants who pay their rent every month!
