Nice outdoor space, thin walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Terraces & rooftop were nice. The location was unbeatable.
Cons:
The building was a party magnet. Could hear both upstairs & downstairs neighbors through the walls.

Pretty decent place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Not bad for NYC. Management wasn't bad at responding but not excellent. Didn't seem to care much but had to make them care. Trash collection was very good for the neighborhood which overall had a rat problem.
Cons:
Noise. not particularly clean laundry room or hallways.

Management not responsive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building was in a great area close to the museum and an up and coming neighbourhood. buidling was kept clean and pest free.
Cons:
Management was unresponsive to most requests. My last summer living in the building our unit's electricity bill randomly jumped 300% and no effort was given to look into why our bill was suddenly so high even though none of our habits had changed compared to the year before.
Advice to owner:
be more responsive to tenants

Frat party building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Roof deck has a lovely view of the city. No issues with roaches or mice.
Cons:
Maintenance is quite lax, common areas look very run-down. There is only one washer/dryer which barely works and is often broken for weeks.

Building has built-in speakers in the ceiling of every room which tenants use to blast music at all hours of the day/night. Constant parties. People passed out or having drunken arguments on the stairs.

4A takes takes over the roof for frat parties almost every night, so good luck having any time to enjoy the view when it's not covered with beer cans, cigarette butts, and trash.

Roof furniture is mostly broken and always soggy from the rain since people don't put the cushions away after using them. The building couldn't be trusted with an umbrella because people kept leaving it open and breaking it.

Maintenance will come fix broken things in your apartment which is nice but is honestly the bare minimum. You pay for all of your own heating/cooling which is quite expensive.
Advice to owner:
Repaint the hallways—at this price point it's pretty sad how the stairs look.

Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very modern & in nice location with a great rooftop.
Cons:
Management doesn’t do anything to upkeep the building.
I’ve lived here for several years and it took 14 months to replace a broken umbrella. The roof is great but nearly everything is broken.
Advice to owner:
Management should do more upkeep.
