Very unorganized management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment was big comparing to other nyc apartments and the building is close to trains, supermarkets, cafe and restaurants and bars.
Cons:
The landlords rarely respond to the problems. They would either not pick up the phone or told us to fix the problems ourselves or told us how expensive it would be to fix the problems… they also refused to return our deposit! It’s also impossible to reach them. We shouldn’t have agreed to give back the key without a walk through with them which they initially agreed to do until the day of our moving day and they bailed. Now they just make up some excuses to keep our deposit.
Advice to owner:
Be organized and be responsive. Communicate with your business partner and be consistent.
