Decent place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Big quiet lower priced. Laundry room recently but is sometimes being used by the super’s wife
Cons:
Pre war peeling paint, mold, no fan in the bathroom so mold keeps coming back, horrible place to live if you have asthma. It took them over a year to build the laundry room and half the time the supers wife is in there hogging it. Now they’re doing construction on the facade and our beautiful view is blocked by scaffolding plus endless noise and who knows how long that will take, they also ruined out beautiful prewar lobby with endlessly construction and now it looks like generic shit.
Advice to owner:
Put the heat on, ask your tenants before starting major useless construction projects

So much to improve
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious apartments, elevator building
Cons:
Cheap management, they don’t like to expend a penny in landscaping/gardening. Elevator smells bad ALL the time. The building really needs to change smelling, stained and OLD carpet in common areas. Problems with cockroaches and mice. Really cold during the winter, specially in the tops floors; they don’t like to turn on the heater. Must wear warm clothes all the time. No laundry on site.
Advice to owner:
The building really needs that management invests in the common areas overall. We all know the building is old but there is so much to improve and management doesn’t care. Problems with pests are not handled quickly enough. I’ve been waiting for 2 months for them to fix water filtration through the roof.
