Pros:
Unit was spacious, clean and newly renovated/new appliances, superintendent was very responsive and helpful.
Cons:
Very loud restaurant downstairs, bedrooms have no heat, run down a little, unresponsive management group/landlord

Pros:
Well constructed building with good sound isolation between apartments, high grade appliances, great central a/c and heat system. All the exposed brick is great, and the building management team was always extremely responsive.
Cons:
Street noise (but that is expected for living on Grand St)
Advice to owner:
Building superintendent could clean the entry-way/stairs more often during Fall/Winter.

ceiling fell in the first week

bedrooms were a decent size
Cons:
the first week in the apartment the ceiling in the kitchen fell in - leaving debris all over the kitchen and a huge open hole in the ceiling (about 3 feet across) management did not address this until I called 311 and reported them multiple times. when I moved in the apartment was also not cleaned at all by the previous tenant and the locks were not changed to the unit (I know this because the previous tenant was still in the unit when I arrived for move in and just handed off the keys). also very very loud because of the LIRR right outside the window.
Advice to owner:
secure the windows with weather proofing to help with the sound and cold winters.

Gut it and start over you have bad plumbing and it’s causing mold you can just paint over it
