Squeak Squeak Squeak

Pros

There is a great community of people living here. You get decent bang for your buck in terms of square footage, but the apartments are pretty run down.

Cons

There are mice in the walls. I had an awful mouse problem in my apartment the first winter I lived here. I called the super about it, and he sent a guy who filled the holes in my walls with spray foam. That very night I saw a mouse run out from the allegedly filled hole. $300 later, a real exterminator was in my apartment laughing at how quickly the mice had chewed through the spray foam. The stairwell is constantly dirty. My apartment when I moved in was dirty. The building is not well maintained. Last year the buzzer system broke, multiple of us called in about it, and nothing happened. Then the fire department was called because someone smelled gas, and the firefighters had to bust through the door to get in the building because we weren't able to buzz them up. This building has given me many stories.

Advice to the owners

Please manage the building better and tell the super not to be so mean all the time.

Great Neighborhood, Ok apartments

Pros

Basic apartment, in a great neighborhood

Cons

pest problem, work was done in the basement about a year ago and it made all the mice scurry to find another place to be.

Advice to the owners

Have an automated request system, do something about the mice
