Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews of buildings managed by Jon Rahimzada show a mixed experience. Positives include good locations, friendly neighbors, and some responsive management and maintenance staff. Amenities like laundry and rooftop access are appreciated, although laundry facilities often need upgrades. Common complaints center on poor cleanliness, pest issues (notably mice and roaches), and inconsistent garbage management. Several tenants report management as unresponsive or slow to address serious maintenance, safety, and heating problems. There are frequent mentions of rent increases that feel excessive. While some buildings are decent and tenants approve the owner, others suffer neglect, with tenants warning about unprofessional management and unresolved pest infestations.

Great until its not building

Pros

great location, laundry in basement, good size rooms and living spaces.

Cons

management was shady, problems with maintenance of building, lived here for 4 years, loved it when it was running smoothly, but ever so often there would be an infestation of something, roaches/mice. Once you found the issue it was okay. Location is great and block has a neighborhood vibe. first 3 years here the maintenance was awful, very dirty lobby and trash management. Roaches (only really one at a time every few months and dead at least) would stay in the lobby for days, clearly not being cleaned. Up until last year when they hired a new maintenance guy are i have now relied on him and he is fantastic!

Advice to the owners

Upgrade the laundry machines- run down and you have to run them multiple times to get your clothes dry even if its a normal size load. Packages get stolen all the time- need better security.
