Former tenant·10 minutes ago

Nice, no major complaints

Pros

great location, good neighbors, landlords were pretty responsive

Cons

internet wasn't great on top floors - had spectrum come would have to redo some setup for better service, electricity bill was always on the higher side

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Overpriced in a beautiful location

Pros

Most units completely remodeled with nice fixtures and appliances. Beautiful historic building in a great location.

Cons

Insufficient hot water. Maybe lasts for 20 minutes in the shower. Owners don't know how to fix it. Electric bills range from $300-$450 / month. Front doors are not sound proof at all. All sounds in the hallway flow into units and vice versa. Building materials appear cheap, drywall is very thin 1/8th inch (you could probably push your finger through it) and floor is very soft wood that will dent easily.

Advice to the owners

Rent is too high.
