Lovely apartment and would return

Decent soundproofing - cannot hear neighbors Friendly doormen Great location Nice space and convenient amenities

Street noise Some cockroaches were seen despite keeping space clean

Beautiful pre-war building, mix of long-time tenants and Columbia students
Pros
Really nice doormen and maintenance staff, gorgeous tall ceilings, quiet. Relatively big apartments. Laundry room recently remodeled. Neighbors seem nice so far but I haven't really met many people yet.
Cons
Building management isn't the best, I've heard, and there's both a move-in and a move-out fee (??) which is annoying. I haven't had any bad experiences yet but other tenants have grumbled.
