Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Jason Hiller reveal a mixed management record. While some residents praise responsive management and good neighbor relationships, many report serious issues including poor cleanliness, inadequate garbage management, pest infestations, and inconsistent heating and water supply. Noise from surrounding areas and ongoing maintenance delays are frequently noted alongside concerns about building upkeep and security. The management is commended when timely in addressing urgent repairs but often criticized for slow or insufficient resolution and poor communication. Prospective renters should expect variable experiences depending on the building, with location and neighbors being bright spots amid operational challenges.

Poorly Managed / Bad Experience

Pros

Location. Updates. Friendly neighbors.

Cons

Absolutely filthy. You can hear the bar downstairs until 4 am. Fly infestation. Old/moldy light fixtures and shower. Building lobby is disgusting and has not been updated in 50 years. Buzzer do not work so packages get left on the street and stolen.

Pros

The location was the best part of the apartment.

Cons

There was a crazy person that created problems with other people that lived there. The cops were called various times and the management company was informed numerous times but didn’t do anything. He harassed too many people from the building and nothing was done.

Advice to the owners

Make sure that you don’t let crazy psychopaths live there.
