Management Company is Terrible
Former Tenant
Pros:
Not very many, you’re paying affordable rent at the cost of subpar building maintenance.
Cons:
Terrible Management company- Nova Management. Management company does extremely minimal to address tenants issues and does it in the cheapest way possible, you practically have to beg and call 311 for any issues to be addressed. Extremely cold temperatures in building and apartment due to cheap window fixtures which causes electricity prices to be insanely high, central air is malfunctioning in many apartments, mold in HVAC system that management fails to address, water heater is not optimal and pressure is extremely low. Fixtures are cheap and haven’t been maintained over the years. Terrible maintenance of building by management company.
Advice to owner:
Be less cheap and work harder at addressing tenants issues throughly.
