A-pest-ment In Roach’s Kitchen
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location in Hell’s Kitchen, friendly super
Cons:
Bugs and mice abound, thin walls, noisy street at night from hookah bar clientele, elusive landlord with slow response times, not a good value
Advice to owner:
Hire a real exterminator and lower your rent

Living in Hells Kitchen
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location in the city is great. Price for which I pay for the studio is great. Super lives across the street. Owner of specific apartment is very kind.
Cons:
Walls are thin so it gets a bit noisy depending on the neighbor. Small condo, and retains heat too much. Pest control problem when first moving in.

Former Tenant
Pros:
No pros about the building
Cons:
Terribly maintained building. Severe roach and mice infestation even with exterminator. Super is unresponsive, rude and enters apartments with no notice. Landlord is horrible and doesn’t care about issues or tenants.
