Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for buildings managed by David Lansey indicates significant management issues, particularly with responsiveness and maintenance. Many residents noted persistent problems with pests, garbage management, and noise levels, often experiencing difficulty communicating concerns to the management. Despite some positive remarks about location and spacious apartments, several reviews emphasized an urgent need for improvement in cleanliness and tenant relations. The overall sentiment suggests that prospective tenants may face challenges regarding timely support and upkeep of facilities, making these buildings less appealing for long-term living.

Poor management response

Pros

Nice location, plenty of sunlight, huge space for an apt in nyc

Cons

Daycare on 4th floor, unresponsive super and management, caught two mice on our second week of renting the apt

You’ll never hear from management

Pros

Great location, spacious apartment, super and his team are doing their best, but not always on top of requests. Neighbors in the building are great for the most part.

Cons

Getting help from property management is impossible. Phone calls aren’t returned after leaving a voicemail and emails get ignored. I know the super and the maintenance team are overloaded, so I don’t blame them but follow through isn’t always the best. Packages get stolen ALL the time though. Deliveries get left in the main lobby and they get swiped. Packages in the mail room go missing as well, though not as common, but still infuriating. Apartments could really use some upgrading/fixing.
