Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of properties managed by Colliers International reveal severe challenges in management responsiveness and building upkeep. Tenants frequently cite pervasive issues with pests, cleanliness, and maintenance, with many noting a consistent lack of effective communication from management. Although some residents appreciate the location and amenities, the overall sentiment leans negative due to ongoing infestations, dirty common areas, and poor maintenance of safety features. While a few buildings receive positive remarks, the patterns indicate a troubling trend in neglect, suggesting potential renters should approach with caution. Improvements in management and maintenance practices are urgently needed to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Worse Experience of my life

Pros

Renewed Units Location

Cons

We had a bed bug infestation in our apartment. Just 20 days before ours, another unit had already reported an infestation, but management failed to properly address the problem or take measures to prevent it from spreading. Eventually, the bed bugs reached our apartment, and even after treatment, we continued finding live bugs. The building is also poorly maintained. There are several rats regularly around the trash area, the building is damp, and common areas are often dirty with garbage left in the hallways. One neighbor has dealt with water infiltration for months, with mushrooms reportedly growing from the walls. We've also had an unsealed hole in our kitchen that allowed a mouse to enter. Overall, the lack of maintenance and management's failure to properly address serious issues made this an extremely stressful experience. We ultimately decided to move out.

Warning - Pests

Pros

Really nice location and when things are good there great. The super is a really amazing, hardworking guy and does his best to fix issues but management often stops him.

Cons

Building has a serious roach issue and management is lazy about addressing. The lock for the front door is broken and people are blocking the lock to get in and out which is likely contributing and means anyone can enter the building at any time. There is only a door camera for security. This building is managed by Colliers and they will act like they have NO time for you. Place is overpriced for the serious headaches.
