A Good Experience
Pros
I appreciate the responsiveness of the landlord with any issues we have had. Most of the neighbors keep to themselves and are nice people. The garbage is always picked up and the area is kept tidy. I have never had issues with late night noise from the neighbors.
Cons
There is a roach issue (mostly smaller ones) and I contacted the landlord and they sent a exterminator within 2-3 days. They treated the apartment and that helped greatly, but we still get them here and there. The exterminator told us that they likely will not 100% go away because not enough of the tenants sign up for extermination services.
No Repairs for Water Damage, Bug Issues, Collapsed Ceiling
Pros
Price is lower than other places. Amazon locker in lobby. Elevator. Laundry in building.
Cons
Landlord does not make repairs. Two flooding incidents, including one from other tenant’s fire and we still have hole in our ceiling and mold growing after a month. Not responsive to needing repairs. Big roach problem. Hallways and common areas are only cleaned maybe once a week. People steal packages during the holiday time.
Advice to the owners
Listen to your tenants.
