Dark, overpriced, thin walls

Our apartment had a basement so that was nice. It did flood however and has a weird smell.
Cons
Very little light, smallll kitchen, small rooms, thin walls the upstairs neighbors are so so loud.
Advice to the owners
Make sure people have carpets for less noise
Management was horribly unresponsive

I have a massive hole in my ceiling that leaked for 6 months. They sent someone who had no idea what they were doing twice and the water broke through the next day both times. For half the time I was there anytime someone would shower upstairs it would leak into my room. Upstairs broke their lease because of it. I had to physically go into their office multiple times which was very hard to find to get someone to fix it. They also gave me a fraudulent check for my security deposit when I moved out which I had to go in in person again to figure out. Management company are a bunch of scammers.

Find another job
