Not all roses and shamrocks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Locations is great. Easy access to Queens Blvd, Grand Central Parkway, and the Van Wyck Expressway. Walking distance to park and good eateries.
Cons:
Not much updated for the price. Landlord is often rude and/or petulant in behavior towards tenants and their guests.
Advice to owner:
Update basics like bathroom shower doors, vanity, kitchen cabinet doors, balcony railings, even the ac units.

Decent building, questionable landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Affordable for the area. Decent size and layout. Fairly quiet. No need to ever turn on the heat.
Cons:
Paper thin walls and ceilings, can hear everything above and next door. Dryer barely works. Live-in owner/super can be very two-faced (sometimes nice, sometimes aggressive and threatening for no good reason..)
Advice to owner:
Mind your own business
