great neighborhood, awful apartment building

Pros:
the super was friendly but older so it took time for him to fix things
the neighbors are cool and no one gives any problems
close to everything

Cons:
there are roaches all over in the summer and rats in the walls all the time - i would hear them at night
all the floors and windows are slanted, almost like the building is sinking. some windows dont open
the landlady didnt care about the building and will lie to you to get off the phone - she only cares about the money.
the floors in the hallway were always dirty
a lot of rats by the garbage at all hours - always a little scared to throw stuff out
water goes out constantly and on the 5th floor, no water pressure ever - sometimes literally no water from the shower
noise from the cars on ocean was a lot louder than expected - always kept me up
