No Hot Water and Broken Front Door

Pros

The apartment itself is well renovated and clean.

Cons

The radiators are turned on late in the cold season and off before the warm season. The front door to the building is broken so that it is unlocked all of the time such that packages are stolen and strangers are often in the building. The super is completely unresponsive and unhelpful. The landlords are even worse. The hot water works sporadically. There are many week stretches without hot water (think cold showers all of the time). The management has been unresponsive to these issues that should be fixed by law.

Advice to the owners

Fix the front door. Fix the hot water. Follow the laws.
