Recent tenant reviews for buildings managed by Eli Fisher frequently emphasize significant concerns regarding property maintenance and pest control. Many residents report inadequate cleanliness, poor garbage management, and issues with heating, particularly during winter months. Mayer Kaufman Slumlord

Pros

I appreciated the people who lived here in the past, and we have had some decent maintenance people over the years. Y'know, for the constant repairs that need to be done.

Cons

Stay away from any building owned by 1106 Remsen Realty, AccuTrust Capital, and Mayer Kaufman. Absolute slumlord, does not care about tenants in any capacity. I think he might even rejoice in their suffering. My building is crumbling, we don't have heat/hot water for days every winter, and I fear for the safety of my family and neighbors every day. Whenever someone tries to do something nice for this building, it is ruined by management. A few years ago, my neighbor made a community garden for everyone to have clean produce. This landlord came and ripped everything up, didn't even clean up weeds in the area, only destroyed the nice, abundant garden. Isn't it against your religion to destroy food and punish the poor?

Advice to the owners

Sell your buildings and get a regular job. You cannot manage residential buildings and that responsibility should be ripped away from you. I hope you rot in jail when the city gets you.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Pros

The apartments are spacious. The management company is responsive Monday to Fridays during business hours.

Cons

Has a lot of issues with water bugs, spiders, centipedes, roaches, ants & rodents. There’s a ridiculous infestation of rodents & ants. Responsiveness doesn’t mean they’ll resolve your issues. The building is very poorly maintained.
