Nice apartments - Deceptive Management

Pros

Pre-War building so apartment is very spacious.

Cons

Quiet building, however, after you rent the apartment management gives you a problem to fix anything and drags their feet on everything. We literally have to hold rent to force them to do repairs. In and out housing court as a revolving door. My neighbor is hoarding and toxic fumes come from her apartment and it appears management wants us to move out so they can raise the rent since the neighborhood is going through gentrification, as opposed to ensuring the living conditions are habitable. Heat has only been consistent due to constant 311 complaints. They pretend they care, but, drag their feet. They own over 100 properties, so do be very weary of Lilmor Management. They were even on Brooklyn News 12 for essentially being slumlords. They have numerous building violations. They pretend very well, but it’s all a deception. They don’t hesitate to take you to court for rent, but don’t make your concerns as a tenant a priority, even during COVID-19 the won’t return calls timely, but are calling for rent payments.

Advice to the owners

Your tenants are humans and not just dollar signs. Take interest in the upkeep of your property by addressing concerns and not prolonging the issues facing your tenants making them feel helpless.
