Cons
Property manager hates his job, life, and women and will take out his anger and resentment on you. Will not respond to you requests for maintenance and then will show up unannounced, have adult temper tantrums over nothing, and fail to do his job. Prepare for the fire dept to come at least 1x a year when he fails to maintain the boiler properly, water damage from the roof leaking when he doesn’t get the gutters cleaned, and then he gets mad at tenants for reminding him to do his job. Also prepare to not get your security deposit back for months after moving out. When my windows fell out in the dead of winter one year and I got upset after 2 weeks of begging him to fix it, he told me if I didn’t like it I should find somewhere else to live. So if you prefer to have windows that stay in the frame when it’s 14 degrees outside or stairs in the hallway that aren’t a hazard, this probably isn’t the apt for you. Enjoy!!
