Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for Yehuda Cohen's buildings indicate a mixed experience. On one hand, residents appreciate the prime locations, spacious layouts, and friendly neighbors. However, management is frequently criticized for being slow to respond to maintenance requests, with tenants reporting unresolved heating issues, pest problems, and cleanliness concerns. Several reviews highlighted that proactive communication from management was lacking, leading to frustrations over unresolved maintenance and facility issues. While some buildings boast good amenities and attentive staff, the overall sentiment suggests a need for management improvements to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Nice location, management is fine...

Pros

- Great location - Well renovated - Great neighbors

Cons

- While they're very kind and nice, management takes a long time for major issues. Dryer was broken for weeks and took many many emails to get it fixed.

Advice to the owners

It would be great if you had better ability to work with tenants more directly. Things feel like they fall by the wayside if you aren't bugging them constantly.

Management lets it down

Pros

Very spacious rooms, on a nice street close to the park

Cons

Managment is incredibly non-responsive and regularly skips out on putting out trash, fixing hot water issues, or doing monthly pest control/cleaning of the common areas. Additionally when we rented there was in-building washer/dryer. This turned out to be illegally installed and was removed, although we had to figure this out ourselves as it was never communicated to us.
