Pros
The building was fairly clean and the internal noise level was low - all the tenants were very friendly and kind.
Cons
The split AC units were installed improperly and leaked water instead of draining it, resulting in water damage to the wall and forcing us to put down towels permanently (and they never fixed it). The laundry machines also were not kept up, and there were only 2 washers and 2 dryers which wasn’t nearly enough for all the tenants.
Great Rent Stabilized Apartment
Pros
Beautiful view of manhattan, close to the train, modern spacious apartments with terraces, nice kitchen for cooking and hosting. Management was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons
Packages got stolen due to broken front door which didn’t get fixed for months and no package room. AC unit leaking water into our apartment ruining drywall. Live-in super primarily speaks Spanish so there is a language barrier. Often times a disconnect between on-site management and ownership.
