Lived here for 5 years until pushed out due to raising rent
Pros
The location is wonderful. The neighborhood is amazing and neighbors in the building and outside the building are so kind. The bathroom was pink and so charming and the light is also spectacular.
Cons
The owner is very accusatory. There were multiple issues with the pipes due to the building being so old and she would often pressure tenants to stop doing things that none of us were simply because she did not want to properly change the pipes. We went multiple times without being able to run water. She also asked another tenant of the building to find out who reported a 311 complaint about the heat. No longer lists online in an effort to get more money and also lack of transparency around how much each unit is going for.
Advice to the owners
consider more compassion as a landlord and humanizing your tenants rather than seeing us as income
