Old building but good landlords
Pros
Landlords are quick to respond and address any maintenance issues I've had. Often same-day. Area is quiet at night. Apt is well soundproofed, can’t hear neighbors. Excellent heating and hot water. Great location.
Cons
Trash is stored in lobby and can smell in summer. Stairwell is a bit rundown. No door buzzer, which has its pros and cons. CCTV in lobby is never working which makes me feel less safe.

Responsive and respectful management
Pros
Management is fantastic - don't raise rent unnecessarily or overcharge and respond quickly to problems. Other tenants are respectful and kind. Large spaces, great light, well kept by the owners (regular cleaning of stairways).
Cons
Lots of street noise. Heating is unreliable. Water pressure isn't great. Hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time. Not great amenities (some units renovated and some not).
Advice to the owners
Full renovation of units without dishwashers/newer bathroom appliances
