Old building but very attentive landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlords are quick to respond and address any maintenance issues I've had. Often same-day. Not too loud on upper floors. Can't hear neighbors either. Great location.
Cons:
Trash in lobby often smells, especially in summer. Stairwell is a bit rundown but they attempt to clean it regularly, but the building is just very old. No door buzzer, which has its pros and cons. Streets are very busy on weekends.

Responsive and respectful management

Pros:
Management is fantastic - don't raise rent unnecessarily or overcharge and respond quickly to problems. Other tenants are respectful and kind. Large spaces, great light, well kept by the owners (regular cleaning of stairways).
Cons:
Lots of street noise. Heating is unreliable. Water pressure isn't great. Hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time. Not great amenities (some units renovated and some not).
Advice to owner:
Full renovation of units without dishwashers/newer bathroom appliances
