Review Summary for Magdalena Kosz
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of buildings managed by Magdalena Kosz reveal a mixed tenant experience. Positive remarks highlight convenient locations, quiet surroundings, and generally responsive management in some buildings, praised for orderly garbage management and neighborly environments. However, significant concerns emerge around pest infestations, heating failures, and inconsistent responsiveness to maintenance requests. Several tenants report severe pest issues and prolonged unresolved heating problems, leading to frustration with management's lack of timely action. Cleanliness and building upkeep also vary, with some properties noted for poor maintenance. Overall, prospective renters should expect inconsistency in management quality across properties, with potential challenges in pest control and heating resolution.

Lived on FL 3
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to 72nd subway
Cons:
SEVERE SEVERE SEVERE (!!!!!) Pest issue

Broke lease early bc cockroaches that were in the apartment from day 1 of me signing lease. See images - I also don’t cook and never used the broken stove. It was repulsive living here, I do not recommend.

E mailed mgmt daily / weekly to no avail, they were useless and ignored e mails.

Old tenant left furniture and the management took 3-4 months before they removed it.

AJ Clarke management is also unhelpful - lease was suppose to begin on the 4th of the month, I didn’t get keys until 11th and even then I was told buzz the building until a neighbor answers then keys are in apt. Super lives far away but he’s nice

I never write reviews but please do not live here it was the worst apartment I have ever lived in, in my many years in NYC
Advice to owner:
Pest control - so disgusting

DO NOT RENT IN THIS BUILDING
Former Tenant
Pros:
location of the building
Cons:
Building has a heat problem. Apt was with no heat in many occasions and was fined by the city many times.
The building didn't have cooking gas for 8 months and the owners didn't address the problem.
Management company is horrible, no response to complaints.
Building has very poor maintenance.
I would never rent any apartment managed by AJ Clark, these people offer very poor treatment to the tenants.
Advice to owner:
You need to do serious work in the maintenance and management of this building.
