Tenants are your clients
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to transportation and stores
Cons:
Front of building is dirty. Although pigeons live in front of the building it is never hosed down. The windows are extremely dirty because they have never been cleaned on the outside.
Advice to owner:
Cleaning the outside of the premises is just as important as the inside.

Manhattan Valley is doing illegal active as the people responsible!!!!!!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors are amazing people that need to be owners of their apartments! They have been fighting for this for years and Manhattan Valley isn’t doing their part!
Cons:
The super sucks! He doesn’t clean anything! Manhattan valley being the property management for this building is conducting illegal activity! They are holding 5 apartments from being put onto the market for rent.
Advice to owner:
You guys need to let this building go and let the tenants own because you are doing a terrible job!

Don’t move here. Landlord trying to weed out tenants to raise rent.
Former Tenant
Pros:
600 feet from Central Park West
Cons:
RAT INFESTED, cracks everywhere in the apartment, broken tiles, broken windows, broken sink, worn out heaters
Advice to owner:
All tenants who live here need to form a meeting to have a huge lawsuit for how you treat us. Our buildings have cracks everywhere, nothing is EVER fixed, you leave us with NO HEAT when elderly people live here! Then have the audacity to pull up the rent in this shitty condition. Everyone who researches this building deserve to know what’s going on.

The city owns this building and they suck at keeping up with this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors are amazing
Cons:
The city and the people that clean this building do a terrible job
Advice to owner:
You need to put money into new management and renovate this building or sell it to somone for a cash offer.

Nightmare on Columbus/Manhattan st.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Swept lobby? Barely any pros
Cons:
Mice. Everythings broken. No one fixes things properly. They take forever to come once you file a complaint.
Advice to owner:
The “quick fixes” around the apartments is just showing you don’t care about your renters. Nothing is properly or PROFESSIONALLY fixed. They literally get guys who don’t know anything about construction. Not even a simple plastering job 🤣

Short walk to Central Park
Former Tenant
Pros:
There are no Pros.
Cons:
Some tenants are the worst of the worst. They use the hallways as storage for garbage and furniture.
Advice to owner:
Have respect for your tenants, return calls and emails quickly. Stop putting band aids on repairs, spend the money to correct the problems. Hire experienced supers and pay them accordingly.

Questionable owners
Former Tenant
Pros:
This is in a nice neighborhood
Cons:
Rats infested building
Advice to owner:
Answer call, fix apartments when things are broken01
