nice apartment-terrible owner/landlord
Pros
the interior of the apt is lovely. nice attention to detail re: design. great location
Cons
owner/landlord is cheap and issues don’t get resolved until they get worse if at all. backyard is full of rats and outside area “patio” isn’t actually usable. didn’t get full security deposit back (first time ever in 10 years) for things that clearly fall under normal wear and tear category ie wall cleaning and lightbulbs??
Advice to the owners
not everyone is out to get you; sometimes apartments just have issues. get a manager who you trust if you don’t like some of the responsibility that comes with being a landlord while charging a premium.
