It is what it is

Pros

I’m in a rent stabilized/rent control apt. My apartment is very spacious because it is pre war.

Cons

The management hires building supers based on certain tenants request. ie: previous super was here for decades. New super is the son of a super from the building next to this one owned by the same management. The Super of building “hires” outside persons (some being addicts) to clean the hallways. And it is horrible! Never ever sweeps the floors and uses dirty water to drag the mop over each floor! Neighbors are nasty and refuse to put their garbage down the garbage shoot they just pile it up in the compactor room! Building has just been on a decline for years.

Advice to the owners

We are human beings though we’re not the same we should have a clean building that is maintained properly

Easy Access to Transportation and Markets

Pros

Stores are surrounded by the building so you could easily have access to most things without stressing out

Cons

Loud music during the summer and cops are almost always standing around the block

Advice to the owners

More heat is needed during winter and rent should reduce
