Cozy but affordable building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large windows, quiet neighbors, and market and laundromat just across the street
Cons:
The heat on the first floor wasn’t that great in the winter.
Overpriced, but fairly well managed
Former Tenant
Pros:
Historic building
Reasonable response to communications by management time wise
Cons:
The banging of the pipes!! No sleep come winter... Had issues with roaches and once a mouse, but landlords pretty quick to address. Biggest issue was they’d slam up the rent by $ three figures at the end of every year, went up a huge amount in only 2 yrs (I moved two blocks into an apartment twice the size for pretty much the same price) - was way overpriced compared to other apartments in the area, and I was one of several who moved out for this reason.
Advice to owner:
Be more reasonable with rents.
