Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Morley Kaye show a mixed to negative experience overall. While some appreciate the convenient locations, security features, and occasional cleanliness, many tenants express frustration with persistent noise issues and poor management responsiveness. Complaints highlight ineffective handling of noise disturbances, pest problems, dated apartment features, and slow or unhelpful communication from management. Several tenants feel ignored when reporting problems, with some describing the landlords as unprofessional or rude. Buildings seem to struggle with maintenance consistency and enforcing lease terms, resulting in dissatisfaction and non-recommendation by many residents.

Ok place but…..

Pros

Cameras. It’s near train station 4 & D trains. Guy keeps place clean. 10 mins away from Westchester border.

Cons

Rent kinda high for dated apartments. sound did travel. When asked about addressing noise I was given no real solution kinda kept going on until we left. Street parking not the best, always full.

Advice to the owners

Nice place but noise was an issue.

Going down hill, noise and dirtier than usual

Pros

Close to the train

Cons

Noise is an issue, management company doesn’t listen when you tell them about it. They don’t email back but they will be quick to let you know when they need something done because it will cost them money. Building is dirtier than usually neighborhoods is going down.
