Slumlord alert !!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s mostly quiet and in a good location
Cons:
-hostile apartment manager
-gas leak
-roach infestation
-flimsy front door locks
-heat outages that can last for days
-no hallway maintenance
-cheap appliances
-uninvolved landlord
Advice to owner:
Respond to complaints, especially those involving safety hazards, keep the building clean, and fix up the exterior so it’s not the ugliest and dirtiest apartment on the block
