Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for Brenda Rohlman's buildings reveal a mixed management experience. Pros include generally clean and updated apartments in good locations with friendly neighbors and responsive maintenance staff. Several buildings feature amenities like laundry and elevators, and many tenants note safety and convenience benefits nearby. However, management responsiveness is often criticized, with complaints about poor communication, unresponsiveness, and a lack of on-site superintendents leading to unresolved pest infestations and maintenance delays. Trash management issues and heating inconsistencies are also common concerns. Rent increases without adequate services diminish tenant satisfaction. Prospective renters should prepare for some management challenges but can expect well-kept apartments in desirable areas.

Nice place but bugs

Pros

The storage space in this place is incredible. The apartments and building have a nice look to them it doesn't look run down at all. The neighbors are very nice and respectful in my experiences with them.

Cons

From the day we moved in there have been roaches everywhere. The exterminator comes but only if you sign up and you have to just be available every first Wednesday of the month 3-8 pm ish. For people who don't work a 9-5 this is particularly difficult. The trash situation is less than wonderful. When it gets taken care of quickly it's fine but if it goes one day there are trash piles all over the back area where the bins are and it attracts mice/rats. The laundry situation is fine but there are only 4 washers and dryers so sometimes It's hard to get in but that isn't too bad.

Building ok overall

Pros

Building itself kept clean, large studio apartment.

Cons

Management is rude and not good in emergency situations. Dismissive of flooding issues and not having adequate heat in the winter.
