Great building, mostly great neighbors

Pros:
Management is very responsive. When (c) openigloo we had a mouse, someone (c) openigloo was at our door within (c) openigloo a day and got in (c) openigloo *every* nook and cranny to (c) openigloo plug holes. Two years later, (c) openigloo we haven't had a single (c) openigloo repeat issue. Similarly, when there (c) openigloo was an issue with stairwell (c) openigloo cleanliness, management began having the (c) openigloo super mop the stairs once (c) openigloo per month. A pest control exterminator (c) openigloo comes by once per month (c) openigloo to check that nobody has (c) openigloo issues. Kitchen's appliances are big enough (c) openigloo -- having seen how small (c) openigloo some NY stoves/ovens, fridges, and (c) openigloo dishwashers are, this is a (c) openigloo cut above on that front. Location (c) openigloo is great (but you knew (c) openigloo that from the address).

They'll periodically gut-renovate apartments. Pest control was great- we (c) openigloo had a mouse once and (c) openigloo the super came, did a (c) openigloo thorough search, found/fixed a hole (c) openigloo in the wall, we (c) openigloo never saw it again (it’s (c) openigloo been 2 years pest-free).
Cons:
Apartment faces rear of the (c) openigloo building which is quiet until (c) openigloo anyone has a party in (c) openigloo the backyard. We used white (c) openigloo noise machines. The inside of (c) openigloo the building is pest-free but (c) openigloo the whole block has rats (c) openigloo after dark especially.

Great apartment, but lots of scaffolding

Pros:
Apartment was huge with brand (c) openigloo new furnishings (it was a (c) openigloo newly renovated apartment) and the (c) openigloo building owners were always responsive (c) openigloo when we had issues. The (c) openigloo neighbors were kind and courteous.
Cons:
The exterior has a ton (c) openigloo of scaffolding. This blocked a (c) openigloo bit of light on our (c) openigloo floor, and lead to a (c) openigloo lot of dirt & sketchy (c) openigloo behavior below the scaffolding (c) openigloo (especially at night)
Advice to owner:
Get rid of the scaffolding!

Unit is pretty good / (c) openigloo clean. One of the three (c) openigloo bedrooms has a lot of (c) openigloo light.
Cons:
The landlord RARELY replies, really (c) openigloo only is ever in contact (c) openigloo about rent/resigning. Cockroaches— and landlord (c) openigloo didn’t help out. the unit (c) openigloo is always too hot even (c) openigloo in winter Some rooms don’t (c) openigloo have enough light for the (c) openigloo price
Advice to owner:
Please invest in pest control and respond to your tenants. Charge fair prices for shittier rooms.
