Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants renting from Jay Miller report mixed experiences across buildings. Positive remarks include some well-maintained and spacious units, friendly neighbors, and convenient locations near amenities. Certain buildings benefit from attentive superintendents and timely landlord responses. However, many renters highlight issues such as poor heating, pest infestations, persistent odors, and inconsistent cleanliness. Garbage management varies widely, with some sites showing neglect. Noise levels can be problematic depending on the building's location. Management responsiveness is frequently criticized as slow or ineffective, with suggested improvements including better maintenance staff and more timely communication. Overall, prospective tenants should expect variability in management quality and building upkeep under Jay Miller's portfolio.

Needs to do way better

Pros

Quiet at times

Cons

Building always smells like cat pee. When the building is being mopped it’s smells like dirty mop water. When something needs to be fixed in the apartment they never come when they say they are but quick to collect rent. Si e been with a water leak for over a month the super knows and I haven’t seen him in weeks he always on vacation as he says.
