super generally responsive to repairs. lovely street and close proximity to parks and green space. affordable.
Cons
Severe roast infestation plagues many units, doesn't seem like it has been resolved over periods of years. exterminator does not come regularly and is ineffective.
Good space, Package Theft, Poor Maintenance
Pros
Solid square footage for rent (before the post-pandemic rent surge) and great location.
Cons
Big problem with package and mail theft in the lobby. I would avoid the apartments that look out on the interior courtyard/recessed basement steps. Not a lot of light, people smoke on the steps, and one tenant had a medical emergency in the space and management didn’t send anyone to clean up the blood and EMT supplies left behind for months.
Advice to the owners
Create a secure dedicated mailroom and install real security cameras
