Great when No Maintenance Issues
Pros
I love the neighborhood, the building/neighbors are always lovely, and for the most part, I've had no problems with my unit as far as bugs/pests/rodents go.
Cons
We periodically have package thieves. The people in the building are good about looking out for each other & moving packages out of the way from the street view/front door, but every few months the thieves take their fill. We experienced some pretty consistent issues with the boiler this past winter. Getting in touch with management to fix the issue seemed nearly impossible. The entire building was without heat and hot water for 3 and a half weeks. The unit I occupied was lovely and very newly renovated, but the floor does have a significant lean to it. That made arranging the unit with furniture interesting- not impossible, but not easy either.
Advice to the owners
I'd suggest working on clearer, more consistent communication with tenants when issues arise in the building.

Cons
Unnecessary cosmetic improvements, occasional pests, packages stolen during construction. During my first year living here there were boiler problems throughout the winter but these have since been resolved and had no issues this year.
Advice to the owners
Go back to regular pest management throughout the building
