Better With New Management Company

Quiet block, good value for the price, nice neighbors
Cons
It's a very old building with not great insulation. Previous management company was awful and unresponsive but the new management company actually seems to care. Service tickets get immediate response and quick resolution now.
Great Apartment, Absentee Owners
Pros
Lovely location, quiet, in decent condition and generally clean.
Cons
We had massive leak, rats in the walls, a broken dryer (fire hazard!!). Landlord does not deal with trash or maintain common areas at all. Landlord exceptionally unresponsive (took us almost a month calling 2x a day to get them on the phone to deal with a $1500 coned bill they hadn’t paid and deal w our pest issue….) to any issues even though there is a nominal super who is supposed to deal with everything. Feels like you are throwing your rent money into a black hole.
