Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of Peter Fine's buildings report a mixed management experience. Positive feedback highlights clean, well-staffed, and quiet buildings, particularly in Manhattan locations, with responsive maintenance for common issues like heating and pest control. Some buildings feature friendly neighbors, functional amenities, and attentive superintendents. However, numerous reviews from Bronx properties express significant concerns—poor cleanliness, pest infestations, delayed or ineffective maintenance, security issues, and indifferent management. Several renters cite persistent problems with elevator reliability, laundry facilities, and building safety. Overall, management responsiveness tends to be inconsistent, and the conditions vary widely, so renters in some properties may face ongoing challenges with upkeep and tenant quality.

Safe and quiet

Pros

Most neighbors are Quiet, clean building, attentive staff, kind super & manager, pet friendly.

Cons

Laundry room gets and stays dirty. Parking is horrible, ghetto abusive tenants have moved and ruined the peace and quiet this building once had. You can hear constant yelling and threats throughout the walls from your neighbors and DV but when cops are called nothing is done and it continues.
