2 years living here and thinking of leaving
Pros
-The super is very kind and responsive. -Spacious apartments. -Plants look nice outside during the spring and summer.
Cons
-Slowest elevator ever. -Management is slow to respond to repairs and other issues but quick to increase rent (by a lot). -Very cold in the apartment during the winter months (insufficient heating). -Pipes are very old. Frequently get yellow-ish water coming out of the sink/tub faucets. -Wooden floors are loud and creaky. I can hear the neighbors walk upstairs and next door even with rugs. -Windows are difficult to open and close. -Laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers which are often in use when needed.
Advice to the owners
Provide better heating in the winter, needs better management, and rent increases are unreasonable

The super is a pretty cool guy, he’s helpful. Great location too.
Cons
Everything about the management company. Shady, liars, thieves. Literally attempt to commit fraud against you by claiming they’re paying your utilities even when you have receipts that say otherwise. Don’t respond to emails regarding repairs, but definitely always email or text to bitch about minor stuff like throwing the garbage in the wrong bin. The absolute bottom of the barrel, most low life “management” company ever. Still fighting with them over breaking the law regarding security deposit return, will likely have to fight them in court. Avoid these vultures AT ALL COSTS.
Advice to the owners
Get a different career.
