Former tenant·10 minutes ago

Good starter place but not a keeper

Pros

Close to the train, markets, culture, major stores

Cons

Neighbors are loud, smells like weed, YNs constantly standing in front of entrance and elevators. Building is infested with roaches, water pressure is not good. Could smell next unit’s cooking in my unit. Windows are old and need replacing.

Former tenant·Over 3 years ago

Poorly Maintained

Pros

Close to subway and Cortelyou

Cons

Very poorly kept. People constantly smoking cigarettes in building and lobby and leaving cigarette butts and tobacco everywhere. No action taken to stop. Roaches everywhere. Barbecues happening throughout all hours of the night any day of the week, any time of year. Rent rises every year, but condition of building and units deteriorate.

Advice to the owners

Manage the property. If you just want to make a ton of money, sell cars or drugs. Don’t go into a profession where you are responsible for maintaining a quality of life for people.
