Pros and Cons: Unit 3L

Pros

- In-unit washer/dryer - Renovated, new-ish kitchen appliances - Pretty spacious and the bedrooms get good natural light - Maintenance requests get fixed in a timely manner - Rent stabilized - Fairly priced - 10 min walk from the G train - Unit gets sprayed for pests once a month

Cons

- Neighbors in the building play extremely loud music at all hours of the day and night - Thin walls - Constantly has baby roaches - No safe place for packages to be delivered, sometimes they get stolen - This can be a pro or con depending on your preferences but it is on a Hasidic street, and all the neighbors (outside the building) are Hasidic. Tons of kids around. Nearby stores close for Shabbat (Friday night and Saturday). Comes with cultural differences - Very very large rats live on the street and in the trash outside (thankfully I never saw one inside) - Only metro line close by is the G - Living room and kitchen has no windows
