Would not recommend

Pros

Lot of space

Cons

- bad landlords, unresponsive, combative, and untruthful - extreme pest problem (cockroaches) - inconsistent heating during winter months

Unresponsive Management, Issues Stacking Up

Pros

Affordable, kind neighbors in building, nice location

Cons

- Frequent loss of heat/hot water without communication - Unresponsive management - Regular issues with roaches - Poor trash management system (they use the elevator to bring trash down from each floor to the basement so the elevator always smells like trash) - No cell service in apt - Very few outlets (1-2/room)

Advice to the owners

Stop letting things pile up and fix things properly! You can only put so many bandaid fixes on a messed up system. And if you ARE going to have so many building-wide issues, don't go days without communicating anything to your tenants!
